The Conservatoire du Patrimoine's mission is to promote the natural, historical and traditional heritage of La Garde-Freinet (Var) and the Massif des Maures in general.
With its fig tree orchard, where it has planted 150 trees of 50 different species, the association raises awareness of the need to preserve rural and natural heritage. The association also offers a wide range of activities, including volunteer workcamps, exhibitions, themed walks, workshops, conferences and events for families, adult groups and schoolchildren.
