Presentation

The first regional grouping of the REMPART movement to see the light of day following the national union's desire for decentralization in the 1980s, the REMPART Ile-de-France grouping is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the heritage of the Ile-de-France region. Today, it brings together 26 heritage preservation associations and aims to support them in all their activities, while continuing to develop its network of partners and member associations. The association has Jeunesse et Education Populaire accreditation.

In addition to supporting member associations in the restoration of their sites, Groupement REMPART Ile-de-France directly carries out workcamps with a view to restoring and enhancing Ile-de-France's heritage. In this way, it intends to help the emergence of new structures for safeguarding and enhancing heritage, and to pass on its know-how to new member associations.

The REMPART Ile-de-France group also strives to make its members' activities known and recognized at regional level, by setting up and energizing a network of external partners.

As part of its mission to assist the volunteers of its member associations, as well as the future leaders of the REMPART network, the Groupement REMPART Ile-de-France organizes a range of training courses to meet current needs. Combining theory and practice, these courses cover everything from site organization and restoration techniques (Monument Historique, Pathologie du bâti, Relevé du bâti) to general reflection on heritage preservation (Méthodologie de projet).

In addition to these training courses, the REMPART Ile-de-France Group provides individualized assistance to associations in setting up and managing their associative projects.

The Groupement REMPART Île-de-France also carries out integration activities. It actively manages the "Patrimoine & Lien social" initiative in the Paris region, with the aim of encouraging young people to become self-sufficient through artistic and cultural activities. Through the organization of awareness-raising meetings and job discovery days, the REMPART Île-de-France group works with more than 15 social and professional integration structures, or with young people aged 17 to 25 in precarious situations. The aim is to introduce young people to heritage and restoration techniques, and to help them acquire useful life skills and know-how.
