The Association pour la sauvegarde et la valorisation de la vallée de Chauvry (Association for the preservation and enhancement of the Chauvry valley) was created on the initiative of Villiers-Adam residents keen to preserve the local heritage. Instigators of the project to restore the communal wash-house, the association's members carry out historical research, maintain the site and its surroundings, and organize workcamps. Mémoire d'avenir aims to perpetuate the restoration work and ensure a second life for this place of memory. Eventually, the site will be open to hikers, educational activities and cultural events.
