La Sabranenque

The association was created in 1969 to save the medieval ensemble of Saint Victor la Coste (village surrounded by the ramparts, hill, castle). The village was completely abandoned, ruined and overgrown with vegetation. The action of the construction sites allowed its restoration and the houses became the reception center of the Sabranenque. Today, work still takes place in the village and the castle, but the Sabranenque focuses its action on safeguarding the rural heritage and works on other sites in the region.
