The Friends of Rochebaron have been working since 1972 to safeguard, enhance and animate the ruins of the medieval castle of Rochebaron (classified as a Historic Monument in 1951) thanks, in particular, to the international workcamps of young volunteers which take place during the summer .

For 35 years, the association has organized a summer camp for young volunteers in order to get the site out of oblivion and invasive vegetation.
Masonry work is carried out in order to consolidate the existing.

The association has set up educational workshops for schoolchildren. It offers elementary and secondary school students an introduction to heraldry, calligraphy, stained glass and lighting, as well as a fun tour of the site.
