The Château-Rocher association was born in 1967 from the meeting of some twenty young people passionate about the Château de Blot-Rocher, then in disrepair. The primary goal of the association was to consolidate the ruin with the help of volunteers. The different phases of the site will continue until 2010.

Today the association has given itself the mission of promoting and bringing this site to life through various means: conferences, events or even an exhibition.

The site is currently closed to the public. A major enhancement and safety project, piloted by the community of communes, is underway.
