The Saint Martin priory was built in the Middle Ages and depends on the Benedictine abbey of Nanteuil-en-Vallée. It integrates into via Turonensis, the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela passing through Tusson, Salles, Nanteuil-en-Vallée.
In 1420, only 4 monks lived there. However, a religious community seems to have endured there until the beginning of the 18th century. In the 19th century, the priory became a farm, which ceased in the 1960s.
Since 1995, the work of the volunteers and the school-site of the Marpen club, ensures the preservation of the site. With the installation of the carpentry workshop in September 2015, the renovation process includes a reflection on energy saving
