Granite cutting course

Organised by "Friends of Lavauguyon Castle"

JULY 07 TO 11, 2025

Over 5 days, you'll learn how to work with granite, a hard stone! Preparing blocks and laying them in the chain-link of the corner of the bastion (part of the first defense wall) in the magnificent setting of the castle ruins.

You'll be staying in a self-catering gîte.

Supervision will be provided by Fabrice MARTIN, professional stonemason, and Eric ZUCKMEYER, volunteer and president of the association, in charge of masonry.
