The association contributes to the maintenance, restoration and animation of the maritime military heritage inherited from Vauban: the fortified peninsula of La Hougue, the fort of Tatihou, and the square fort of L'îlet. The towers of La Hougue and Tatihou are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The association works closely with the French Navy, the Conservatoire du Littoral, the DRAC and local authorities. The association organizes workcamps open to volunteers during the summer.
