The Union régionale REMPART Grand-Ést brings together 17 associations that organize volunteer workcamps on a regular or irregular basis. Its aim is to structure all local associations in the spirit of the national charter.

The regional union responds to requests from its members. It centralizes requests for volunteer workcamps, passes on information and raises awareness of heritage restoration initiatives.

The regional union aims to create synergy with the region, in particular with the Comité Régional du Tourisme and the Comité d'Histoire Régionale.

Another objective is to organize training courses. At present, national courses are organized in Châtel-sur-Moselle and Gombervaux.
