The Jacques Copeau house, in Pernand-Vergelesses, is one of the significant sites in the history of theater in the first part of the 20th century. Not only because of the personality and the action of Jacques Copeau, but also because Marie Hélène and Catherine Dasé knew how to prolong the vitality of the place which welcomed over time, many
of those who occupy a significant place in theatrical life today.

Thanks to its acquisition by the theater man Jean-Louis Hourdin, this heritage has been preserved.

Housed in the heart of the village, it includes various buildings including a main house and a pavilion dating from the mid-18th century. In front, a small French garden (these elements being listed in the inventory of Historic Monuments) as well as various small residential buildings complete this set.
