Commitment to heritage is what REMPART is all about. This means engaging in international projects in partnership with civil society organizations. This, in turn, promotes world-wide mobility, solidarity with associations the world and fosters emblematic restoration initiatives.

Who?

Our network of partners has grown progressively around heritage-related projects, voluntary work and young people. The partners of Union REMPART are all different because the perceptions of heritage protection, voluntary work and restoration of sites run by volunteers vary from one country to another. Moreover, heritage restoration sites run by and dedicated to young people are not common in all countries.

However, all our partners are associations themselves or likewise, and organize heritage restoration activities with young people, whether as volunteers or pupils from specialized (heritage restoration) schools.

Why?

Union REMPART is developing its activities on an international scale. We would, therefore, like to develop our exchanges with foreign partners and promote our approach to heritage restoration with volunteers. If you think REMPART might be a suitable partner for your project, do not hesitate to contact us.

How?

There are several types of exchanges between associations and partners :

– Foreign volunteers are invited to France (either as individuals or sent by a partner),

– French volunteers go to our partners’ sites abroad,

– Exchanges within the frame of European projects (ERASMUS plus, European Solidarity Corps… etc..),

– Community officers and foreign leaders are invited to France to participate in training courses,

– French leaders go to heritage sites abroad to participate in their technical supervision,

– Exchange of experiences between associations and likewise organizations.

REMPART promotes and supports the creation of volunteer workcamps outside France as part of its international policy. You can get more information on the modalities of cooperation for the establishment of your volunteer workcamp or for the sending out of French volunteers on your site by contacting us directly.
