Take part in the monumental restoration site of the Porte de Laon, a masterpiece of 13th century military architecture classified as a historic monument.

You will learn the theoretical and practical bases of stone cutting and traditional masonry through the execution of a layout, the drawing of a sketch, the size of siding, the installation of large apparatus on holds or in bath of mortar and repointing with lime mortar.

The progress of the work will continue with the pruning and laying of the remaining foundations of the passage Charretier and the steps of a spiral staircase.
Maintenance and rejoining work on different parts of the monument. The stone cutting site is sheltered in our workshop. The masonry is located on La Porte de Laon.

The guided tour of the castle and the fortified enclosure are essentials at the start of construction.
We also offer one or two other tours of the region.
