Restore the lock chamber of the Louth Navigation Canal in England!
The Louth Navigation Trust has restored the historic Louth Navigation Warehouse, improved the towpath and carried out rehabilitation work on some of the surviving locks. We will continue this work at Ticklepenny Lock , a cradle lock. The masonry is in poor condition and volunteers will work to restore the lock chamber using bricks salvaged using traditional heritage methods.
Fees
Registration fees : to pay at REMPART at registration
Frais de séjour : 90€ / session (to pay at the camp leader upon arrival)
The registration fees ( £80, the equivalent today of €90 ) will be paid directly to the association.
Registration and insurance fees (are to be paid to REMPART at the time of registration ( €40 ).
To enter the UK for a stay of less than 6 months, you do not need a visa but you will need a passport. Check that you have a passport and ensure that it is valid for 6 months after the date of the work. When registering, attach a copy of the first page of your passport. If you do not have a passport and would like to have one issued, begin your procedures 10 weeks before your work site.
