11th century castle having preserved its 2nd enclosure with 3 trebuchet bastions from the beginning of the 13th century contemporary with the crusade against the Cathars, the association mille pattes welcomes you to restore this exceptional Ariège heritage
Celtic oppidum of the 3rd century BC, Romanized, then Merovingian, the archaeological site is vast and preserved. the castle is located 1 km from the current village
This year, the association has the project to secure the East facade and to begin the stone cutting of the jambs and keystones, with the aim of restoring the main door (XI° century).
the millipedes association welcomes you to the base camp of the construction site, just below the castle.
Bread oven, kiosk, cordwood house, 220 volts solar, drinking water, camping area...dry toilets
swimming in the river, lake mondely, visits to Montségur, mountain hikes, caves...

Registration fees : to pay at REMPART at registration
