Take your general training session with Union REMPART at Château de Villandraut near Bordeaux!
The BAFA, Certificate of aptitude for the role of facilitator: basic or advanced, is a patent awarded by the Ministry in charge of Youth which allows "to supervise on a non-professional basis, on an occasional basis, children and adolescents in collective reception of minors (ACM).
The BAFA will allow you to supervise groups of children, young people or adolescents who are welcomed in reception and leisure structures. These places of reception are declared and are managed by local authorities, associations, works councils or scouting movements. With your BAFA, you may therefore be required to work in leisure centres, nursery or primary schools, in holiday centres, in out-of-school reception areas or in holiday centers or youth work camps...

General objectives of the BAFA general training session of L'Union REMPART
Globally :
• Clearly meet the expectations of the Decree of July 15, 2015 relating to certificates of aptitude for the functions of facilitator and director in collective reception of minors
• Train responsible animators capable of intervening in all forms of reception and leisure
• Train, over time, more facilitators in order to develop a more specific offer of teenage stays in the large volunteering network in France
For the general training session:
• Train operational facilitators, capable of handling a range of diversified facilitation techniques that can be adapted to all the populations accommodated in the Collective Receptions for Minors
• Allow trainees to better understand the different realities of the animation community, whether at the level of the organizing structures, the audiences welcomed and their daily life contexts
• Propose an active, empowering pedagogy, which will allow the trainee to be permanently in a reflective posture and of choice on the issues of animation in Popular Education and to situate himself in a social, cultural and educational context
• Make the trainee a responsible facilitator who is fully part of a work team, respecting the consistency of the implementation of the educational project and respecting the expectations and requirements of the host organisation.
• Train trainees to ensure the physical and moral safety of the children received, regardless of their age groups and in compliance with the regulatory framework for collective reception of minors
• Allow the trainee to take into account, in a concrete way, the different facets of the organization of daily life in the places of reception by integrating the different needs of the child (safety, health, rhythm, awakening, cultural openness, socialization, etc.).
• Help the trainee to adopt and transmit a civic, responsible and secular and non-discriminatory attitude by taking into account the weak points identified in society and experienced by certain groups received.
• Equip the trainee in taking into account individual and collective conflict situations, analyze them, adapt the responses by working on distance, support and solidarity between the members of the team
