Created in 1986 by the mayor of Asnières, the Association Patrimoine d'Asnières initially oriented its actions towards the animation and enhancement of heritage (guided tours, volunteer sites).
In 1996, the association was approved as a Heritage Center by the DRAC and the Rectorate of the Academy of Nantes and was therefore interested in educational research (welcoming schoolchildren: heritage classes, days, etc.).
In 2007, an agreement was signed and established the association as a Heritage Resource Center for the Pays Vallée de la Sarthe.

Heritage Center approved since 1996, the association offers a variety of educational actions and adapts to the demands of teachers: heritage classes, stays, days, half-days ... The themes are numerous: murals, technique of frescoes, medieval iconography, the functioning of a seigneury in the Middle Ages, architecture in the Middle Ages, the development of a village over the centuries?
A fun discovery is also offered: the treasure hunt in Asnières-sur-Vègre.
