Les Amis du pic de Montverdun

Created in 1968, the association of the Friends of the Pic set itself the goal of restoring and animating the priory of Montverdun, a high place forézien.
The first general cleaning works were followed by the repair of the roofs of the priory building and its gallery, as well as the construction of a dwelling.
The classification of all the buildings would allow the restoration of the roofs of the church.
From 1983, active participant in the safeguarding of heritage, the Association, affiliated to the REMPART Union, organizes youth workcamps for the restoration of the Priory.
Various prizes have rewarded these actions: prize from the Fondation des Pays de France, regional prizes from the Young Volunteers' Workshops, price Chefs-d? Uvre en Péril.
